To celebrate Copenhagen Fashion Week we’re celebrating one of our favourite Danish labels, Anonymous Copenhagen.
Self-described as classic Scandinavian design but with a twist of joy, Anonymous Copenhagen is a unique brand specialising in comfort, quality and strong traditional craftsmanship. Since being founded in 2012 by Alexander Ziegler Petersen, the brand has grown to become internationally recognisable, selling in stores globally including London with us, Made The Edit.
Why we love Anonymous Copenhagen.
From timeless classics to the latest seasonal trends, you’ll be guaranteed to find at least one pair of boots you will fall in love with (and we won’t judge if you have a love affair with several!). Irresistible Scandinavian design flows throughout the collection with stunning silhouettes, contemporary colours and sharp cut lines featuring heavily.
But it’s not just the fashion-forward styles we love. Each pair of shoes is expertly crafted with quality materials using traditional manufacturing methods. All the components such as soles, insoles and heels are developed in Portugal and hides are meticulously handpicked at Italian, Spanish and Portuguese leather suppliers. They support smaller, family driven factories that operate under strict EU standards to avoid chemical impact and promote a safe working environment. It’s this attention to detail and close relationships with suppliers that results in beautiful boots assured to last.
Comfort is also one of the label’s key design considerations. They use flexible soles and spongy insoles so you can go from the office to the bar completely pain free.

The cowboy boot - fiona £180.
Cowboy boots are a definite wardrobe staple, but even more so this season as they are experiencing a major comeback - in fact Stylist labelled them a ‘seasonal must-have’. They’ve been spotted on the runway from big industry brands including Calvin Klein, Maison Margiela and Chloé to name a few. We love this beautiful classic cowboy boot with double stitching detail.
Forget suffering in stilettos, winter is all about functional, warm and practical boots. This versatile chunky style can be paired with anything from pretty floaty dresses to skinnys and a tough leather jacket. They’re a super simple and sophisticated boot which comes in a gorgeous black grain leather and are very comfortable. We recently bought these back in stock after selling out so hurry, they won’t be around for long!
Studs are big this season and feature heavily in the trend described by Vogue as ‘Punk Spirit’. Studded boots were featured by Alexander McQueen, Prada and Louis Vuitton this season on the runway. In true Anonymous handcrafted style, each stud is placed on by hand. Plus, these boots are included in our winter sale, so there’s no better time to invest!
