Now is the perfect time for a chunky boot. The weather calls for something cosy and warm and the latest lockdown means we’re all about comfy boots during our daily walks. And although they’re big for AW20, they’re also guaranteed to be a wardrobe favourite year after year.
This year the boots are all about little innovative details. From soft, wool-lined linings and gold buckle details to metallic features and beautiful grained leather, we love the extra touches.
They’re super edgy and modern, but that doesn’t mean to say you can’t create a more feminine look by pairing them with dresses and skirts. Or you can style them with a pair of black skinnies and a leather jacket for a more cool, androgynous style.

Because of the boots bulkier style, a pair of tighter jeans and slim jacket helps to elongate the leg and define your body shape, giving a more feminine overall look. When paired with a ripped jean they're so edgy and chic.
Also super practical, it's a perfect outfit for if the kids decide to try to persuade you to climb the climbing frame in the park!

Yes the maxi dress doesn't have to be put away with your summer wardrobe. Layer it up and pair with some warm comfy biker boots and you're cosy and stylish. Plus, it adds a really delicate touch to the boots, perfect if you're not wanting to go full rock-chic.

The ultimate cute and cosy look. Imagine taking a walk in the park and curling up in front of the fire afterwards without having to get changed! Loungewear has become increasingly popular thanks to Covid-19 and leaving the house in something 2019 would have considered too casual is totally ok.
That being said, you can also dress the look up with some leather leggings or jeggings and a bright jumper.

The lamb fur lining spans the whole inside of the boot. Designed in Copenhagen, made in Portugal with 100% Italian leather & lamb fur.

Helen is one of our favourites in our pre-order edit. The soft black grain leather feels amazing and yes, they are very very comfortable. We love the large buckles and zips to the side to make them super easy to put on and take off.

Vigga £240
Vigga made our Emma Go boots edit. We love the soft patent leather, the scallop cut detail at the back and despite being a chunkier boot it’s still super feminine.
All of the Emma Go collection are designed in Denmark and made in Alicante Spain. Vigga is available in black and cognac suede.
