Get the look: casual heels

Heels don’t have to be saved for special occasions - we’re a big fan of ‘dressed-down’ heels. Admittedly it’s a slightly daunting style to pull off, it’s not as straightforward as adding any heel to a little black dress! So we’ve pulled together three of our favourite looks that can easily be worn by anyone.

Boyfriend jean and metallic heels.

Style with Imogen Black Silver

It’s easy to fall into the trap of having your ‘go to’ heel and jean combo as a pair of skinnys and stilettos. And whilst we still love this pairing, we’re also obsessed with heels and a casual boyfriend jean. Loose, cuffed and a subtle blend of masculinity, they make for the perfect laid-back look.

We’ve recently seen influencers style their boyfriend jeans with a metallic heel, so we’ve opted for our Imogen in black silver to add a touch of shimmer to your life.

Leather trousers and oversized sweater.

Styled with Tessa Snake

An oversized, boxy sweater and leather trousers is a combination we are loving this spring. You can team the jumper with your favourite staple slim-fit leather trousers or go for something a bit different like the peg trousers we’ve chosen from Topshop.

Whilst this look can be simply styled with a black heel, we’ve chosen the Tessa Snake to make it bang on trend for spring/summer 2020 (read our snake print blog here). We’ve also added our Rodtnes large leather clutch as a simple accessory to tie the look together.

Khaki and nude.

Styled with Ali II Nude Patent

If you want to step away from a jean but still want something comfy and casual a khaki trouser paired with a nude heel is an easy to wear look. We love it because it is incredibly versatile and looks great in any season. It’s casual enough to wear on a Saturday shopping spree but also classy enough for cocktails on the terrace.

We’ve paired the look with our Alberto Zago Ali II in nude patent, but if this classic point stiletto is a bit too high for you the outfit would also match perfectly with the Venice Nude or Florence Pale Pink.
